I am a recent graduate of the Master of Human-Computer Interaction and Design program at the University of Washington.
My journey to HCI started in my senior year of undergrad when I took a Human Factors psychology course. I was introduced to the world of UX design and research and knew that this was something I wanted to pursue.
When I began working as a behavior therapist in ABA therapy, this further fueled my passion for understanding motivations behind human behavior and the importance of the individuals that I work with feeling heard. This drew me to UX research and a genuine desire to understand others and play a role in shaping designs that are grounded in real human needs.
In my free time, you’ll find me at my computer playing The Sims, fully invested in the chaos of my sims’ lives.
